Finca Río Negro
Harvesting grapes at 1000 metres
The Fuentes family have spent two decades restoring the grape-growing and wine-making tradition of Cogolludo by producing terroir wines in a distinctive natural setting, which stands out for its elevation, climate and soil.
Each year Finca Río Negro presents small editions of its flagship wines, 5º Año, Finca Río Negro, 992 and Gewürztraminer, which have gained ever greater recognition, and are now sold on 19 markets.
The next step was to position the brand and increase awareness. With this brief in mind we launched a permanent communication plan, including presentations, tastings and co-branding initiatives.
Meanwhile, as part of this strategy last December we proposed highlighting the firm’s location of Guadalajara, and conducted a Christmas special edition in partnership with Samuel Moreno, of the Michelin-starred Molino de Alcuneza, who produced one of his traditional breads, inspired by 5º Año.
