Oriol Balaguer

Oriol Balaguer is one of the most renowned pastry chefs in the international gourmet scene, known for his pursuit of simplicity and purity in his creations, always prioritizing top-quality ingredients to achieve unique flavors and textures.

In 2002, he launched his own brand, OB, and today, he serves as a consultant for numerous gastronomic projects while also running pastry shops in Barcelona, Madrid, and Girona—must-visit destinations in all three cities.

Oriol Balaguer has been recognized as Spain’s Best Artisan Pastry Chef and was named Best Pastry Chef by the International Academy of Gastronomy in France. Throughout his career, he has received multiple prestigious awards, including Best Butter Croissant in Spain, Best Panettone in Spain, and Best Dessert in the World for his 8 Textures of Chocolate.
